This project was completed for Shirley Cunningham - a newly qualified pilates instructor, with years of experience as a pilates practitioner. Shirley was looking to start her SC Pilates brand, by creating a presence on social media and the web. These platforms would allow her to share important information with clients (and potential clients!), such as class times and locations, pricing, etc.
There are a few notable aspects of the site. The site is build in a modular fashion, through the use of PHP. A Google Maps JavaScript API has been implemented, with the inclusion of marker clustering. The site uses both Bootstrap 4 and custom CSS. The site's clear hierarchical structure, as well as its integration with Google Search Console and Google My Business improves the sites visibility and SEO.
The Anniesland Driving School website was completed for Alex Cummings, the owner of an independent Glasgow-based driving school. Alex already had an exisiting website, but it was not responsive and had not been updated for a long time.
The aim for this project was to maintain the overall appearance of the site, but make it responsive across all devices. The original site lacked organisation and structure, so I seperated the pages of the site into suitable categories to allow for easier navigation through the site's pages.
A notable aspect of this site is that it incorporates a number of dynamic features. An admin section was introduced, allowing Alex to make unaided updates to the site - such as edit the pricing and add/edit short stories about recently passed students, with the ability to upload images. The site was built with a modular approach using PHP. A PHP mailing form was included in this site, as well as a Google Maps JavaScript API with a colour overlay.
